Parker Arts Academy is welcoming the holiday season with the heart-warming classic, Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS. The musical is based on the 1954 film which included a star-studded cast: Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera Ellen.

Directed by Jim Tropp, Choregraphed by Michael Stanek and Music Directed by Matthew Knutson. Irving Berlin’s WHITE CHRISTMAS will be presented December 3, 4, 10 and 11 at 7pm and December 5 and 12 at 1pm and 6pm at Parker High School, 3125 Mineral Point Ave, Janesville, WI 53548.

All tickets are $15 and are available at Knapton Musik Knotes, 2475 Milton Ave, Janesville, Voigt Music Center 2152 W, US-14, Janesville, at the box office on the day of performances or online at www.Parker-Arts.com

   The one a couple years ago was better but this one was enjoyable as well. The shows the Parker Arts family puts on are always enjoyable and the talent from high schoolers is always shockingly good.

How did you like the show?

   Both my wife and I felt that the production was far inferior to other productions that we have attended at PHS. We thought toe large production numbers were very well done, but that some of the individual performances were lacking in both their acting add their singing and dancing. Kudos to the young lady in the dance ensemble that appeared to sprain an ankle or knee on one of the numbers and continued her performance despite the obvious pain that she was in.
