They say every couple who are about to get married makes a wish. What happens when you’re wishes come true but not in the way you expected?

Dr Patrick Ashton is a marriage counsellor set to begin work with 4 couples whose marriages are on their knees. When a public disturbance stops the couples from leaving their session and threatens their safety they are forced to face their issues head on baring their truths for all to see. This play the second by writer of On the Surface, We Smile, Joshua Ashton Williams is an unapologetic depiction of love on the rocks told with laughter, tears and heartfelt characters.

This brand new play from the writer of On the Surface, We Smile, Joshua Ashton Williams is opening with previews at the International Arts Centre, Leicester at 7.30pm on Friday 16th September 2022. Tickets are on sale now for only £8 a ticket! In return we are asking all audience members to complete a feedback form at the end of the performance.
