For the spring of 2026, the Star Bright Players will produce Disney's Newsies, the Disney film turned Tony-winning Broadway hit that inspires everyone to seize the day.  Set in turn-of-the century New York City and inspired by a true story, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies."  When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newboys' expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what's right!

 Amazing production in quality, talent, and casting. I was pleasantly surprised how much they were able to pull off in such a small setting from the original full stage production. Congratulations to everyone involved. You did an amazing job!

How did you like the event?

 Wow! I thought we were coming to a short little kids show, and I was so wrong. These kids didn’t stop singing and dancing for two full hours, and they held our attention the entire time! Every performer brought so much energy, confidence, and heart to the stage. You could tell how much work and passion went into this production. The choreography was fun and engaging, the singing was impressive, and the whole show was put together so well. My son and I were both blown away.

How did you like the event?

 Thoroughly enjoyed the show! The vocals were 👌⭐️, loved the set and lighting design very unique compared to all other Newsies productions I’ve seen. Jack,Crutchie,Davey,Race,Katherine,Medda, those kids were made for the stage. Can’t wait to enjoy many more productions at this theatre.
