Beautiful, sad, uplifting, reflective, and moving. Loved the interactive integration of visuals, technology, and cell phones into the play. A unifying experience of grief and what it means to be alive today.

   What a pleasure to experience the talent of my friend Katie Mack in this interactive expression of how art helps us heal the wounds of loss. Big respect! It was captivating and fun and heartfelt. Was my first off Broadway show! So happy to support artistry in this way Bravo darling to you and your team for a great production and performance !❤️

   Fantastic! Innovative, captivating, and powerful.

  Mack did a beautiful job of writing, preparing, staging and portraying her message! We loved the show and were very impressed with the originality, the technology, the timing, the humor/pathos and mostly, the heart of the performance. The energy never flagged but, Mack, you must have been exhausted by the end! You left it all on stage and the audience appreciated every minute. Congratulations! My son, Colby, is sure your show has a future, a very bright one. Big hugs!

 Enlightens, tickles, and floods you with feelings. And that's just the first ten minutes! This is a brave show! It's a smartly-crafted act of desperation, a raging, splashing, deep dive into grief. Katie Mack jumps through the looking glass of the internet to commune with the dead, to recover her beloved and to find strength. It was like she summoned us to be there, and to be together, and it was a totally unforgettable evening.

   Katie Mack is a force and will be a great performer someday but she needed some direction with the writing and presentation of this show, it was all over the place and her needing to remind everyone how it’s a safe space and that she’s really our friend and on and on was unnecessary. There was an audio recording of what was supposed to be a Korean woman but it sounded like a white girl doing an accent. Very out of touch.

 #UGLYCRY is one of the most innovative shows I've ever seen. Katie Mack does a brilliant job of taking the audience through her personal grief journey while also holding space for the audience to grieve their own losses. This show incorporates tech, social media, AI, and somehow it all works. 10/10 recommend this show!
