TURN

Off Off Off Broadway Musical World Premiere

Event Flyer

A shy boy with a broken heart found refuge in rhythm. In the pulse of Latin music, he discovered more than melody, he found courage. What began as escape became a calling. What began as friendship became love.

Together they rose into brighter lights and louder applause, pages turning faster than either expected. Dreams once whispered in rehearsal halls found their way beneath glowing marquee bulbs.

But every high carries its low.
Every fire casts a shadow.

Somewhere between ambition and home, the harmony grew complicated. There were scars to heal, words left unsung, moments nearly lost. Still, through every stumble and every try, the story kept unfolding.

There is beauty in the darkness. There is fire in the fall. Every wrong turn bends toward truth. Even the painful chapters deepen the song.

How did you like the event?

Gives lots of local talent (and hopeful others) a chance to perform. Lots of fun for those who produced it and their friends and family, but maybe not so much for outsiders hoping for a great show. I know money is short but better sound equipment would have helped a lot, and lacking that, better direction for the singers whose enunciation or projection was not top-notch. It was too often difficult to make out the lyrics. Good to see local kids working dilligently, enjoying.

How did you like the event?

Someone was loud in the audience behind me. Kept laughing and stomping around; it really created a big distraction. Also not everyone stood at the end? I had lots of friends in the cast and thought it was good enough for a standing ovation personally.
