HISTORY-

The Trivette Clinic was built in 1932 by Dr. William Trivette as a community hospital. The Trivette Clinic was used to treat ailments, perform surgeries, and provide various treatments.   The Trivette Clinic differed from other facilities of the time due to the size and number of nurses and doctors working there.   There was Dr. James Robertson, who planted the pine trees in front of the clinic, working there, as well as Dr. Trivette’s brother, Dr. Parks Trivette, who was a dentist, had his office in the basement. 

Dr. Trivette at the age of 50 of pneumonia in 1938 after catching influenza.  In 1939 the Trivette Clinic closed.  It then served as a supper club and detox facility until 1945 when it was purchased by Leo and Mary Rivers.  They turned it into a rest home, and it served as a rest home until Leo’s death in 1953.  V.C. Tooley then operated the rest home until 1954 when Mary Rivers took over and ran it until 1959.  By 1961 the rest home was closed and sold; it was again sold in the late 1980’s at which time it was remodeled.  And finally, it was purchased by its current owners in 2010.

Paranormal Claims-

It is said that Dr. Trivette still roams the halls of the Trivette Clinic along with many patients that never left.   There are also claims that two former nurses, Helen and Polly, still walk the hallways.

There are claims of a young girl known as “Majesty” in the basement.  It is said that she can be found playing along the stairs.  She also likes to try and take a ball out of your hands.  There are also reports of a child named “Jimmy” that likes to hang out in the basement.  On the second floor there have been reports of a young girl that opens and closes the doors to an old wardrobe.  In the former operating room, there have been encounters with a spirit of “Phillip”.

INTRODUCTION

 

My name is Jennifer Lee.  I am the Founder and Lead Investigator of Raven Paranormal.  I am a seasoned paranormal investigator with a reputable team located in North & South Carolina.  I have been officially investigating the paranormal since 2015.  Dr. Barrett & I met & decided to join forces, so we formed Raven Paranormal Events & Dr. Mary Barrett, LLC in February 2023.  Dr. Barrett is an extremely talented Psychic Medium with a very special gift as well as being a Certified Master Hypnotist.   All her degrees/certificates can be found on the website under "About" as well as numerous testimonials.  We decided to come together so that we could offer you a very unique paranormal experience.  We travel all over the US to some very haunted locations to offer you a spiritual awakening with a psychic medium group reading, personal enlightenment though past life regression hypnosis, personal guidance (if needed) throughout the investigation, and so much more!!

After each group reading there will be a paranormal investigation.  I am serious & passionate paranormal investigator only out to seek the truth & collect evidence the afterlife exists so we don't offer gimmicks, play games, or waste your time.  We want you to find what you seek as well.  You will investigate alongside Raven Paranormal as well as given lots of time to conduct your own investigation and find your own answers.  If you are new to the paranormal, we will be happy to teach you how to use the equipment, the proper ways to investigate, the do’s and don’ts, different types of hauntings, etc.  At the end of the investigation, we will document the evidence you received.  You are not just a spectator you are the investigator.   All investigations are kept small & you will not be hurdled around like cattle from room to room.   Large crowds are for tour companies, and we are NOT a tour company.  We are a research & investigation company.

NIGHTLY ITINERARY

• ·         We begin the night with a Psychic Medium Group Reading or Past Life Regression Group Reading
• ·         Private Psychic Medium Reading and/or Past Life Regression Hypnosis sessions can be scheduled at this time.
• ·         Break
• ·         After the break we will begin with some rules, equipment explanation, introductions, and a historical/paranormal tour.
• ·         After the tour we will divide into small groups and begin our investigation until 10:00pm - (Please let us know if you are an experienced    investigator.)
• ·         10:00-10:30 Break
• ·         From 10:30pm to 1:00am you will conduct your own investigation
• ·         1:00am – Everyone will return, all evidence documented & equipment returned.
• ·         Refreshments and snacks will be available all night, but please feel free to bring your own.

INVESTIGATION

WHAT TO EXPECT-

• ·         Conduct your own paranormal investigation.
• ·         Learn about the different types of equipment.
• ·         Collecting of evidence
• ·         No faking, provoking, summoning, etc.
• ·         Debunk (if there is doubt; through it out)
• ·         Learn the proper ways to investigate (dos and don'ts)
• ·         Questions will be answered to help you better understand.
• ·         Please let us know if you are an experienced investigator.  We don't waste your valuable investigation time.

 

WHAT TO WEAR-

• ·         Wear comfortable clothes and shoes (preferably sneakers or non-slip shoes) 
• ·         **Flip-flops or slip on type shoes are discouraged due to tripping hazards.
• ·         Dress accordingly. Be aware of the weather conditions. Some locations do not have AC or Heat.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED-

• ·         If you have your own equipment, please feel free to bring it.  Keep in mind that all personal equipment will be solely your responsibility.   We will not be held liable for any lost, broken, stolen, misplaced, etc. equipment.
• ·         Please bring a flashlight (if you forget, we will have some for purchase)
• ·         An open mind (a good paranormal investigator always has a healthy amount of skepticism)
• ·         A camera (cell phones will have to be in airplane mode during the investigation)
• ·         You are welcome to bring snacks, drinks, etc.

WHAT WILL BE PROVIDED-

• ·         Exclusive Access to the location
• ·         Investigations with our “Special Guests”
• ·         Free roam investigations
• ·         Use of our equipment which includes, trigger objects, EMF Meters, dowsing rods, cat balls, etc. (must secure with driver’s license &   keys)
• ·         Refreshments available throughout the night including Coffee, Sodas, Bottled Water and Snacks.

 

IMPORTANT

You will be conducting your own investigation.  Just remember to be kind and courteous to others while they investigate.  When you decide to move to a different area and find another party investigating, please move on to another area until they finish.  No loud talking, loud laughing, or any type of disruptive behavior will be tolerated during the investigation.  Everyone paid money to be here so please be considerate of your fellow investigators. 

 

We will have cameras set up at the hotspots throughout the location to record and collect evidence.  Please remember that you are being filmed as well.  If you have any questions or problems a Raven team member will also be there to help.
