Julie Nevada has been performing as Tina Turner for the last 19 years and has spent hours and hours studying Tina’s moves, mannerisms, voice and dance routines. She is recognised as one of the leading Tina Turner impersonators in the world, so much so that she has had several mentions on Tina Turner’s European fan club internet sites for her outstanding portrayal of Ms Turner. High recommendations indeed.

What did you think of the recent event?

 Very disappointing :-( She looked good, authentic costume and all the right moves but thats were it ended ! Tooo Loud and booming bass, everyone around me complained although show stopped after 30 minutes to try to fix the sound system which she was doing in every number. Voice not really suited to her tribute and murdered several of Tina,s west hits .... Shame, only poor tribute I,ve seen at the club.

 It was okay, I know she had sound issues but it was distracting for her and us for her to be checking the sound deck every few minutes. I also felt that it was a bit like someone singing like Tina Turner but singing other people's songs.

 It was absolutely brilliant She looked, sounded and moved exactly like Tina. What an amazingly talented woman. Thank you to The Brentham Club for putting this show on.

 See rating on act so awful under club by accident bar staff was nice and found us a table when we had no where to sit

 A good stage and audience performer however the singing was too loud and occasionally off-key. The background music had excessive bass which meant it was indecipherable (as commented at a previous Brentham event). The Singer frequently was adjusting the amplification system which detracted from the performance - this should have been pre-checked. The sound system at the Club needs upgrading to attract and grow future audiences.
