My husband & I was disappointed with the casting of a drag queen for the Good Witch. We hadn’t heard the talks after the first shows. Otherwise I would have never bought the season passes. It has been a few years since I was a season pass holder at SLT. We decided to get passes as we enjoyed plays at SLT due to the family friendly program previously provided. If this is the direction SLT board is taking the theatre then I will not be purchasing season passes in the future.

 I brought 4 grandchildren ages 4-7. They were completely enthralled and far better behaved than other audience members. The constant "whooping" for particular cast members was off putting, poor theatre etiquette. It seems if you intend to have such a lengthy introduction and campaign for ticketing (very important parts of a 501c3) that you might mention audience behavior. I brought my grandchildren as part of their cultural exposure and a new place appropriate behavior.

 Loved the show! Everyone was amazing

 Loved the production . Very clever staging, dancing, music, acting, especially Dorothy, although all were just delightful. Great costumes as well. One constructive comment was the music. It was too loud at times and overpowered the voices of the singers. Other than that, it was truly very enjoyable

 It was better than the movie!!!

 We were skeptical at first. Had we not paid for season tickets we would not have come to see Wizard, since this musical and story had been redone so many times. We were blown away by the professional quality of the performance. This turned out to be one of the best we have seen at SLT. Many of the performances were outstanding. Dorothy, tin man, straw man and the green Wicked Which of the West and the chorus deserve special mention.

 Simply wonderful!

 The rest of the performance was amazing. I enjoyed it as much as some of the Broadway shows we've seen in New Orleans. I just wish Glenda had been cast with acting and singing abilities instead of notoriety.

 Great performance. Cast were very talented The Theater is great . The staff are very friendly.. The costumes and stage were very well done. The interpretation of the film was great. The children actors were top notch . We had a great time.

 It's so nice to see young children having fun. There's a lot of talent in this show. The stage was full of people and props but everyone knew their place and each scene ran smoothly. I especially liked having a live Toto. That dog's talented too!

 We loved it. The cast was so energetic, animated and professional. It was a wonderful performance and I might go see it again before it ends.

 This should have been a 5 star review. I did come to the show with an open mind though I have my own spiritual convictions. I genuinely believe that the entire cast was absolutely amazing. They sang beautifully and their performances were spot on. Except for one cast member. Muffy was not the right fit for this play. He did not sing well nor act well. Muffy (a drag queen) overshadowed the other cast members and took away from their amazing talent. #disappointed

 What a wonderful play with which to start a new season. Casting was delightful, costumes colorful and appropriate, singing was good, and, most of all, all the performers clearly wanted to be on that stage and filled the time with enthusiasm and joy! Keep it up, SLT!

 Loved it! All the singing was great, especially the chorus.

 I laughed harder than I have in awhile! The acting was very entertaining and the musical numbers memorable. Happy to see so many young people engaged in performance art!

 The Wizard of Oz was so much fun! I particularly enjoyed Muffy Vanderbilt as Glinda. The pup who played Toto also stole all of the scenes they were in! It was my first production at the Slidell Little Theater and certainly won't be my last!

 Oz was a wonderful production! Voices, talent, costuming, and sound were just great! We have wonderfully talented people of all ages in our area! The only negative was that I would have been very upset if I had brought a young child to see a drag queen! I KNOW that there are many talented women in our community! Very disappointing.

 Lions and tigers and bears and SLT - OH MY! What a wonderful production. They have the sory down to a T. All are wonderful. Really enjoyed the show. Love each cast member - all. (And shame on the petty-minded individuals who asked to refunds. They missed a wonderful production.)

 This was by far the BEST production I have ever seen at SLT!! The Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie my whole life! I know all the songs and words. This was soooo good and enjoyable. The choreography was superb. I want to go again!!!

 Costume and set design were amazing. Acting and vocals on point. Just as you remember the movie as a kid!

 I was greatly disappointed in the casting choice of having a drag queen play the role of Glinda. The appearance of this character was incongruous with the rest of the show. It would be like presenting Fiddler on the Roof and having Tevye perform the entire show in a tuxedo while the rest of the cast was in period costumes. I found it interesting that in the promotional photos from rehearsal Glinda was nowhere to be seen. Additionally there we several sound issues.

 Excellent show....we loved it!!!
