Event Flyer

The EDGE: A Company of Fine Artists proudly presents The Thanksgiving Play.  Written in 2015 by Larissa FastHorse, a Native American (Sicangu Lakota) playwright, good intentions collide with absurd assumptions in this wickedly funny satire, as a troupe of terminally "woke" teaching artists scramble to create a pageant that somehow manages to celebrate both Turkey Day and Native American Heritage Month.

Directed by Leah Tyson Houchin with Jennifer Renae Allen serving as Assistant Director and Stage Manager. Tamar Neumann as Dramaturg. Sean Allen Jones is Executive Producer with Jay C. Brown as Producer.

The cast includes Lindsay Schroeder, Tony Morrell, Jamison Driskill, and Elyse Dixon.

The Thanksgiving Play is sponsored by Five Points Corporation, L. F. Hollingsworth, Investments, and United Supermarkets.

How did you like the event?

Excellent play presenting excellently. Probably my only slight complaint was the classroom on the small tv. Might have been nicer on a screen. But I understand the costs and limited equipment in a theatre.

How did you like the event?

Fantastic production. Very clever and funny. The actors performed brilliantly and the direction was clearly well thought out. I will definitely keep an eye out for future events!
