The Sternwheelers are an Irish-Americana band based in Nashville, TN. Drawing from the canon of both Irish and American traditions they present a unique crossover “transatlantic” folk. This show consists of original music, traditional Irish tune sets, ballads, pub songs and some unique interpretations of music from other genres. In keeping with the folk tradition their arrangements are all individually their own. The Sternwheelers offer something new, fresh and fun steeped in history and tradition.

 The musicians were GREAT. However, those with me and myself included, could not understand the lyrics to the songs that were sung.

   This group is totally amazing! Two solid hours of absolutely wonderful Irish music. My head and feet didn't stop moving the entire time. I would definitely go to hear them again. They were wonderful.

   Very talented musicians indeed.It was difficult to hear all the words although we were in the second row.The band mentioned it was their third gig that day.Suggest they maybe up their wardrobe a bit to make a little festive,lively colors.
