Parker Arts Academy will present one of Rodgers and Hammerstein’s most beloved and cherished musicals, “The Sound of Music”. Directed by Jim Tropp, Choregraphed by Michael Stanek, and Music Directed by Matthew Knutson; Rodgers and Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music will be presented February 11,18 & 19 at 7pm and February 13,19 & 20 at 1pm at Parker High School, 3125 Mineral Point Ave, Janesville, WI 53548.

   It was great and way better than most high school productions. However, considering this is an Arts academy, I would expect the tech abilities (specifically mic/sound) to be far better.

   The talent of these young men and women was beyond awesome. The singing was first rate. The only suggestion I would have would be to “steam” the costumes before use. Can’t wait for the next event.
