Event Flyer

Sharon, in her mid-fifties, is recently divorced and needs a roommate to share her Iowa home. Robyn, also in her mid-fifties, needs a place to hide and a chance to start over. But as Sharon begins to uncover Robyn’s secrets, they encourage her own deep-seated desire to transform her life completely. A dark comedy about what it takes to re-route your life – and what happens when the wheels come off. This play, which closed in December, 2024 on Broadway, earned multiple Tony nominations including Best Actress in Play for Mia Farrow in the role of "Sharon".

We found it interesting but did not like the lack of moral compass.

Great theater. Poor content. I wouldn't recommend this show to anyone.

How did you like the event?

A rather unusual story but the actors were incredible. Not just in the dialogue but in their facial expressions, how they delivered the dialogue, and their body language. Great job from everyone involved.

How did you like the event?

+While the acting was amazing, the play and its content was not. We realize you want to bring plays that have an edgier content, but this one was extreme. This is the third show this season that we have been disappointed with. So, we have decided that we will give it one more year. But if the shows and their content continue this way, we will no longer buy season tickets.

How did you like the event?

Susan Martin and Jovon Serrano are electric in The Roommate, bringing razor-sharp wit, emotional depth, and gripping unpredictability to Jen Silverman’s intriguing script. Under Christy Miceli’s superb direction, the production crackles with tension and humor. You'll be thinking and talking about this play long after the curtain. The Roommate is bold, smart theatre — fantastic!
