Individually acclaimed and world-renowned, the quartet, co-led by Nicki Parrott (bass/vocals) and Martha Baartz (sax/flute), culminates in an expression of both historical and modern perspectives for a “perfect mix” of original music with toe-tapping tunes from the American Songbook.

 

The band’s engaging sound and stage presence invites the audience to enjoy a unique evening of solid, classic entertainment (with a few surprises along the way!)

 

Featured artists, Steve Russell (piano) and Dave Sanders (drums) complete the lineup with their eloquent and defining accompaniment.

           Excellent What a night. We loved every little bit of the performance and the musical skills of all. Tell Martha her new flute sounded great. Ms Parrot on double bass and her terrific vocals..a bit of Doris Day, a switch to Ella Fitzgerald and Dionne Warwick...she certainly stamped her presence as did her final rendition...because she really is a 'WOMAN'. Steve on keyboard blew me away and what can I say about Paul on drums...let there be

How did you like the event?

   It was fabulous, we both loved it & we will definitely be back. However I did feel bad as we had to leave before they finished as I had really bad sinuses & was on antibiotics, I was worried I was going to start coughing, so we had to leave. We will most definitely be back & bring friends with us next time. The meal was delicious too!! Thank you for a wonderful night.

   Highly enjoyable show. Such a variety of songs, well played. Beautiful vocals. The venue would benefit from a real piano, but the player was talented and a joy to hear.
