The Norm Hathaway Big Band plays Swing for Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine
The Norm Hathaway 18-piece Big Band with jazz vocalist Stephanie Purcell will present a unique musical show on May 7 at the Yorktown Stage Theater to raise funds for humanitarian aid to Ukraine. Revisit the times of the legendary Clubs of NYC – the Cotton Club, Birdland, and Glen Island Casino... recreated right here in Yorktown! The show will include Ukrainian guest vocalist Christina Yavdoshnyak and dancers from the Fred Astaire Studios. Don’t miss it! 
Please join us to create some small miracles for those who have lost everything. Every ticket is a donation. Proceeds will go to the Lions Clubs International Fund (LCIF) for refugee and displaced persons.

   What a wonderful performance for such an important cause! The band, singers and dancers were so talented and the context given to each piece enriched the experience. Hats off to all of the performers and to the Lions for bringing this event to Yorktown. It was a wonderful experience and right in our own backyard!

How did you like the event?

   The performance was outstanding. I can't rave enough about it. The band, the soloists, the dancers, the sound and lighting-all were top notch. My husband and I had not been to an event since Covid so it was especially appreciated. It was a wonderful evening!
