The Lion, The Witch, & The Wardrobe

Event Flyer

That master of imaginative enchantment, C.S. Lewis has created a unique world and he invites children to walk into it and enjoy both surprise and adventure. An old house in rural England becomes the home base for four children who wander into an incredible country through an old wardrobe and help the country return to summer. In the incredible Narnia, they make friends with the frightened forest people who have almost given up hope for the return of good King Aslan, their true ruler. When Aslan was there, it was always summer. There is a great battle to see whether this magical country will remain under a wintry spell or will, once again, know freedom and summer under good King Aslan. A charming play about courage and the love of freedom.

How did you like the event?

Fantastic! The kids were excellent in their roles. Lighting and sound was perfect and you can tell that all kids really enjoyed the production. Kids projected their voices so all could hear and even brought some comedy in the show. You would never guess that this was some of the kids first time in theater. Bravo!!

How did you like the event?

Ms. Gonzales and the kids did a great job. Ms. Gonzales is a superstar teacher. JCPS should do more to support her and the performing arts at the middle school level.

How did you like the event?

The cast and crew did an amazing job despite the many canceled rehearsals from the weather. There were just a few hiccups with some of the light and sound, but overall the kids did great! I loved the pieces of humor sprinkled throughout the play where the students could showcase their personalities.
