The J.O.B. from Richmond, Virginia is a band on a mission: to touch the lives of everyday people with their music. Founded by Jim O’Ferrell and Jason Crawford in 2007 between O’Ferrell’s deployments to the war in Iraq, their focus was to record original songs inspired by Jim’s wartime experience. The J.O.B. has since evolved into a powerhouse alternative rock band with Americana roots and a blues soul. Drummer Eric Bandy joined the band in 2014, and in 2016, bassist Jared Merrill signed on and rounded out the distinctive sound the band has today.

The J.O.B. has recorded 6 studio albums and achieved national Top 40 ranking on FMQB spin charts for three singles. Their latest LP, “Highway of Shadows” is in rotation on over 130 college and independent radio stations in the US and Canada.
