The Doo Wop Project features a powerhouse lineup of Broadway stars and vocal talent. Russell Fischer (Jersey Boys) brings precision and heart to the stage, while Dwayne Cooper (Sweeney Todd, Motown) delivers rich bass and viral charisma. Dominic Nolfi, an original cast member of Jersey Boys, brings experience from A Bronx Tale and Motown. Charl Brown earned a Tony nomination for his role as Smokey Robinson in Motown the Musical and has starred on Broadway and the West End. John Michael Dias portrayed Frankie Valli in Jersey Boys and Neil Sedaka in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Music Director Sonny Paladino, whose Broadway credits include A Beautiful Noise and Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812, leads the group with masterful arrangements. Together, they blend classic doo-wop with modern hits, creating an electrifying and unforgettable musical experience.

 We really enjoyed the environment at The Dixie. Then to have an outstanding performance was a perfect evening. I bought six tickets for us and neighbors. They had never visited The Dixie and had wonderful time. We all were in awe of performers and production.

 This was our second time seeing The Doo Woo Project ant the Dixie and we can’t wait to see them again. How great is it to see Broadway performers in such an intimate setting.

 What a great show!! Have seen a lot of shows here at the Dixie. Most have been very good! But, this show was pure fun from the start to the finish! It looked like the performers were having as good a time as the audience!

 I hate to save it’s my favorite event because many are so good but I loved this show. This music makes you feel so good! There was so much interaction w a responding audience making it a fun night. The dessert and mocktails were also enjoyed. Good selection for a show!

 Loved this show! The DooWop Project group was wonderful. They brought passion and talent to a genre of music that was incredibly entertaining. What they are trying to do with bringing this style into the contemporary field of view is great! I really appreciated the doowopified versions they shared. Absolutely would recommend to all!
