RS Promotions Present - Liverpool band The Christians who are renowned for an endless string of soulful yet socially aware hits …Forgotten Town, Ideal World, Born Again, Harvest for the World, Whats in a Word, Hooverville, Words, Father, The Bottle and many more The Christians enjoyed huge acclaim in the late 80s and early 90s both in the UK and Europe and often confused people with their band name (in fact just the brothers surname with absolutely no religious connotation!)
Still headed by enigmatic lead singer Garry Christian (who very much deserves the Daily Mirror’s descríption of him as having ‘one of the finest voices in pop) who has only gained in vocal stature (and wit) over the years, the band are enjoying a revival currently touring successfully in the UK and Europe.

We are very sorry but can do nothing about this latest date change. Because of the IOM Government Border Entry Restrictions, the gig has had to be moved to the 10th November 2021  ALL Tickets Purchased for the previous dates of the 14th March,the 1st August and 19th Sept 2021  All Tickets previously purchased Will Be Valid For Entry on the Night.

How did you like the event?

     Excellent performance from the band as always. First time for live music at that venue for me and it was pretty good. Bit of a shame that so many in the audience talk through the performance but that is something you have to get used to at events here.

   Superb evening, although as they started half an hour late it meant I had to miss the ending to catch the last bus South. Hope they come back again soon👍🏻

   so disappointed, because the event was moved twice I lost the tickets,so despite emailing you for confirmation of my purchase no reply so could not go as lost the original email and no reply from yourselves

How did you like the event?

   It was FREEZING… … We were sat on the seats at the back but unfortunately the speakers that end were switched off… we could hear the singing ok but not a single word that was said. The band came on 45mins late… played 4 songs and took a break…then came back played about 4 or 5 songs and finished!!!! It was a joke. We definitely won’t pay for a gig in this venue again.. it was awful…

 It is a huge pity it started over 30 minutes late and then there was a longish interval, so we missed some of the show because of having to leave to catch the last bus. If it had run to schedule, we would have caught the whole show, including encore. At the prices we paid for a local gig, this is very disappointing but we know the likely reason this happened, in order to garner more bar sales. So we wouldn't want to attend another gig there if this always happens

How did you like the event?

     Love The Christians. Garry's voice and humour shines through but Joey, through his voice and lead guitar playing, is also an absolute gem shining through. The venue, 1886 Bar and Grill, was actually better than I expected but woukd still prefer a but more room. The boys were late coming on needing to be fed and watered (steaks and JD's by the sounds of it) but still completed their full set. Looking forward to seeing them again. Well Done
