In collaboration with Digno Films and CAPA College, join us for an evening celebrating the next generation of filmmaking talent. Hosted at CAPA College, the event will feature an immersive exhibition inspired by the film, including original sets, followed by a screening of the short film and a live Q&A with its creators.
This special evening celebrates the outstanding talent within CAPA College and recognises the remarkable success already achieved by independent student-led production team Digno Films as they present their original short film.

The Cards We’re Dealt is an ambitious 35 minute drama exploring themes of childhood, innocence and loss in a hypothetical WW3 Britain.
Following two teenagers forced to survive together, we delve deep into the length people go to survive and how everything we know can be taken away so suddenly.
Directed by Isaac Thornton and Danny Taylor (Digno Films) and Starring Conall Beresford and Kyra Nettle, TCWD is a very low budget production created by college age film makers with a passion to tell stories.

The film contains strong language, implicit violence, injury detail and deals with themes of loss, war and sexual violence.
