The production/cast were terrific! Pre-talk also excellent. Only problem? I'm handicapped in WC--the Pantages Theater is woefully deficient in handicap restrooms.

 It was great!

 Google maps gave us the wrong address on 30th by Ace Hardware which increased our stress level tremendously. (We drove 6 hours to get to the performance!) Thank goodness the actual address was on the ticket! But then we had to be seated in the very upper row, since we arrived a few minutes after the start.

 Loved everything about the performance. Kudos to Tacoma Opera! I have one comment. We sat in the first row of the Center Loge section, and the brightness of the subtitles was very distracting Since the subtitles were so bright, the light emitting from the subtitle projector was also obvious and distracting. Please consider dimming the subtitles. For comparison, Seattle Opera uses subtitles that are not as bright and do not distract.

 Everything was lovely. I can't wait for the next installment! I'm especially grateful that I was able to print out my tickets, and not rely on my cellphone.

 We will be back for more.

 Tacoma Opera always puts on excellent performances and intentionally engages with the community. The Pantages Theater where they perform is a gem!

 Tacoma Opera did a wonderful job organizing this Ring presentation. I attend other productions at the Pantages Theater each year and found your presentation superior, including ticket entry & the running of internal activities like wine sales to be superior. Congratulations on sets, costums and orchestra's music. A very enjoyable afternoon for all indeed.

 I am not someone who goes to the opera often, but it is in itself a great experience. The theater is beautiful, and comfortable. It feels intimate for the size. It is nice to spend an afternoon like this without a drive into Seattle.

 Tacoma Opera does an amazing job at attracting some amazing talent to our little theaters! Always impressive. The value and quality are top notch!

 I was impressed overall. Singers were universally good, with some excellent standouts. Loge was by far the best of the night. Set felt a bit minimal, but in a way that was constrained by budget or the lack of a dedicated space rather than an intentional choice. Orchestra was okay. The reduced score was quite good. The amplification was frankly terrible. Sloppily done and probably the biggest detractor from the evening.

 The voices were amazing! I also enjoyed the occasional flashes of mischievous humor! -Unexpected and delightful. Makes The Ring seem more human instead of the usual dead-serious bordering on religious approach we mostly see.

 Great production! I quit going to Tacoma Opera a couple of years ago because they seated latecomers ruining it for the audience and the performers .It's unheard of. I just got tired of the first twenty minutes of a production marred by the parade of latecomers trying to find their seats. I went to Das Rheingold because they said latecomers would go to the balcony until intermission. Still, two people were seated down front 15 minutes into the production.

 A solid and even production. The cast and Orchestra were terrific. Hats off to Tacoma Opera!

 Easy and straightforward

 I've only been to one opera years ago.

 The experience suffered due to an incredibly small audience. This eventuated by the various arts/musical community not speaking with each other and performing 5 simultaneous events throughout the community. It resulted in a "loss" for each organization, I'm sure.

 wonderful performance!

 We are seniors, but took the chance on a first time Opera experience and this was exceptional. The talent was top notch and the concept of an Opera's greatest hits was perfect for our introduction to this artform. Seeing it live, and feeling the voices and the orchestra gave us goosebump moments. Absolutely fantastic!

 The ticket process was easy. The venue itself is wonderful. Nice bar. Great seating. It has a very historic feeling.

 Fantastic performance! Great voices and acting. As newbies to Tacoma is was a little difficult to figure out parking near by. We will defenitely attend future events.

 We had to leave after act 2 as the seats were cramped to sit in. A real disappointment

 I had a good relaxing feeling before I even entered the theater. I was greeted very warmly at theater door. The person helped me very much with checking in.She was so warm and friendly. It was my first time using my ticket using my cell phone. I told myself that I need to get out more often. I was given the information where to go from there. Most HELPFUL . Thank You. .

 I was very impressed with the production quality and the outstanding singers. The sound was stunning.
