Quite a performance!

 I was not able to attend, but 6 of my friends went (we have a group of 12 w/season tickets). They all said it was VERY well done, and the singing voices were GREAT! They really enjoyed it.

 Some of the words were hard to understand during high pitch musical parts.

 Spectacular show! The actress who played Ms. Lovett was iconic.

 I'm a Sondheim fanatic and very critical of any of his shows. The set was impressive and set changes good. The barber chair and dumping the bodies were poor. Acting by leads was good. My biggest disappointment was in several of the male voices. Lead actors in a musical should be able to sing but in this production, could not. Mrs. Lovett stole the show!

 Outstanding performance at SLT! Superb performances by Brandon Bui, Brooke Hagler-Duffant, Tristen Walker, Elizabeth Lewis, Olivia Landry & Mallory Lott! Job well done! The entire cast added an extra layer that made the show really stand out. The set design and costume design was extraordinary! Your work was definitely noticed and you deserve your moment as well! And for those who haven’t seen this show yet, please see it this weekend and support Slidell’s local theater!!

 Strange but entertaining.

 So much fun and such a talented cast! We had a great time! The sets were amazing. We will definitely be back. Looking forward to seeing Shrek with the kiddos!

 Such a great show with such a talented cast! Tobias stole the show! She is so animated and expressive and I naturally followed her when she was on stage. She is a star! I will attend anything she has a leading role on!

 Excellent show, this was my first time at SLT and first time seeing Sweeney Todd. The acting was great and the singing was incredible!

 Sweeney Todd elevated the term “musical thriller” to a whole new level: Every single person involved went above and beyond to deliver a fresh perspective on this renowned Broadway classic, and each theatrical element enhanced the experience from the foreboding overture to the dramatic curtain call. Gary Mendoza & Adam Landry have crafted an incredibly collaborative, Gothic piece of art that will truly go down in SLT’s history as one of their all-time greats. Job well done!

 Sweeney Todd was the best production I have seen in the last 40 years. The execution of the play was flawless. Actors, technicians, set design, backstage crew, all managed to produce an incredible version of Sweeney Todd. Kudos to the director to guide the actors to hit that sweet spot of portraying their characters as believable. Kudos as well to those who chose to produce this complex play. I hope to see more of this caliber!

 I could not hear many of the vocalists over the music, particularly at the beginning of the show. It was great otherwise!
