The Star Bright Players Fall 2023 production is A Christmas Carol the Musical, the spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens’ most well-known story by Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens.  We are thrilled to be offering this holiday classic to our community! Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes that personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present and Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

   I had a kid kicking my chair for an hour and crinkling candy wrappers and mom too rude and clueless to make him stop even when I politely asked.Some stand out voices like Scrooge and Ghost of Christmas Past.Too many kids on stage at time and directing a bit jumbled,classic piece,nice make up and costumes,valiant effort,tangled sheet scene too long

 We loved it! We didn't know anyone in the play but I saw it advertised through WCPR and thought it would be fun. We were so impressed with all the actors and actresses and all involved with the production. I will keep a look out for more plays and musicals from Star Bright!

   The actors were very enthusiastic. I didn’t know the production was going to be a school play because of the name. I recommend clarifying that fact is the advertising.

 Our young grandsons liked it as did their dad and mom (we grandparents treated them). It was good to see a wholesome show, good for the whole family! I like Charles Dickens gifted in sharing moral virtues The players that did a fantastic job, singing, dancing & acting! The theatre was nicely decorated with Christmas trees and we posed for a family photo under one! with one! A good memory for the start of celebrating Christmas! Thanks! 🎄
