WCPR's award-winning Star Bright Players is pleased to present this contemporary take on the classic musical which features Rodgers & Hammerstein's most beloved songs, including “In My Own Little Corner,” “Impossible/It's Possible” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” alongside an up-to-date, hilarious and romantic libretto by Tony Award nominee Douglas Carter Beane. At its core, Rodgers + Hammerstein’s Cinderella remains the heartfelt tale of the girl from the cinders who is forthright and kind as she tries to connect with her prince and change the prince into a better man.

How did you like the event?

   Why did you have those young people actually kissing??? It would not have taken away from the integrity of the story line to NOT have them kiss! Why not promote and encourage purity. You had small children seeing all of the kissing which promotes going way too fast too soon in relationships. That was very disappointing!
