Escanaba in Da Moonlight is a hilarious and heartwarming comedy written by Jeff Daniel’s. The story revolves around the Soady family, who unite at their hunting camp in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula for the opening day of deer season. The central character, Reuben Soady, is determined to shake off his reputation as the oldest Soady never to have bagged a buck.  As Reuben goes to extraordinary lengths to change his luck, the play unfolds with a mix of humor, horror, and heartfelt moments. Expect a blend of supernatural elements, quirky characters and plenty of laughs as Rueben’s quest leads to unexpected and entertaining twists.
