Holly Breivik, Lauren Smith and Jim Lauren Smith comprise the contemporary/traditional folk trio Razor Hill.

Jim and Holly had performed as a father/daughter Celtic act since 2000 when Lauren joined them in 2011. Holly and her family relocated from the area and Jim and Lauren continued as Celtic Machinations. They later formed Razor Hill, named after a road in Fauquier County, with the purpose of expanding into Americana. Holly rejoined them in 2018 upon her family’s return to the area. Together, they have performed in venues about the Culpeper/Fredericksburg/Warrenton/Winchester area. 

Specializing in contemporary and traditional folk music, both borrowed and original, they often recognize their Celtic roots during their sets and do all with beautiful vocals and energetic fiddling.
