Get Haunted – Event Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe, respectful, and immersive experience for all participants, Get Haunted requires all attendees to adhere to the following Code of Conduct. Attendance at any Get Haunted event constitutes agreement to these terms.

1. Right to Remove

Get Haunted reserves the absolute right to refuse entry or remove any guest from an event at any time, without refund, if they are found to be in violation of this Code of Conduct, disruptive to the experience, or a risk to themselves, staff, or others.

2. Sobriety Requirement

• All attendees must arrive sober and remain sober for the duration of the event.

• The use or possession of alcohol, illegal substances, or misuse of prescription medication is strictly prohibited.

• Any guest appearing impaired will be denied entry or removed immediately.

3. Respectful Behavior

• Guests must behave respectfully toward staff, property owners, fellow attendees, and the location itself.

• Harassment, intimidation, aggressive behavior, vandalism, or refusal to follow staff instructions will not be tolerated.

• Paranormal investigations require cooperation—actions that disrupt equipment, sessions, or other guests’ experiences are grounds for removal.

4. Punctuality

• Attendees are expected to arrive on time.

• Late arrivals may miss instructions, safety briefings, or access to the event and entry is not guaranteed once the event has begun.

• No refunds will be issued for missed portions due to late arrival.

5. Dress Code & Footwear

• Guests must dress appropriately for weather conditions, terrain, and the nature of the location.

• Events may involve uneven ground, stairs, low lighting, or outdoor exposure.

• Open-toed shoes are highly discouraged due to safety risks.

• Closed-toe, sturdy footwear is strongly recommended.

6. Historic Location Safety Notice

• Many Get Haunted events take place in historic or older buildings.

• These locations may contain lead paint, asbestos, dust, or other environmental hazards typical of historic structures.

• By attending, guests acknowledge these risks and agree to follow all safety instructions provided by staff.

7. Compliance with Staff Instructions

• All guests must follow directions given by Get Haunted staff at all times.

• Safety instructions are mandatory and not optional.

8. Personal Responsibility

• Attendees participate at their own risk.

• Guests are responsible for their own physical condition, limitations, and personal belongings.
