Thank you for bringing Rent to Fort Walton Beach! My wife and I first saw Rent in 1996 (three months after Jonathan Larson tragically died too young). Your production maintain the spirit of Rent and did a remarkable job at keeping it alive.  Male lead singers were off-key/flat but very good at their role. Conversely, there were a few women who sang like true professionals and the troupe was synced like a well oiled machine. This was lovely to watch pulling on heart strings as the play was meant to do! They did a tremendous job on the play as a whole. I would definitely recommend anything the StageCrafters do.

 RENT is incredible. The set was extraordinary! I’ve never seen anything like it! The show had so many moving parts, yet everything ran seamlessly—and it’s very well directed. The LIVE BAND takes it to another level, making the production feel polished and truly professional. You can tell everyone worked extremely hard to bring this show together. GREAT CAST AND CREW! 👏 What a way to kick off the 54th year of STAGE CRAFTERS!

 The cast did such an amazing job in their roles! We knew exactly who each cast member was playing in their roles! I really loved Angel, Roger and Maureen! What a surprise to have something so wonderfully done here in little fort Walton beach!

 A powerful performance in a retelling of centuries old opera La Boheme. Featuring a modern day twist regarding class, disease epidemic, love & loss. The Stage Crafters Theater Co., performed wonderfully a 30yr old musical whose message about living for today is still as poignant as it was in 1996 when it debuted. Having lost friends & family to HIV/AIDS even recently it’s a reminder that life is fleeting, and to mark our days with seasons of love

 I prefer a play to an all musical presentation but it was well done. Mary Claus

 Amazing show, amazing cast!! Everyone did well, and it was such an emotional performance. There were some real standout performances, like Take Me or Leave Me. My favorite performance was Mimi Marquez— sexy, sultry, emotional, and such a star!!!

 Loved the live orchestra The acting could have benefited from more crispness, Angel’s outfit -and leggings- draws too much attention and makes the actor look gigantic; the chorus needs more practice; Marjorie is phenomenal. The homeless woman was also really good. So was the character that wore the black leather coat. Mimi had lovely singing moments and her character had demanding acrobatics that were executed flawlessly (could use more crispness as well),

 From the ensemble to the lead performers, this production is absolutely phenomenal. The energy, talent, and passion on stage make it impossible not to be pulled into the story. I’ve never seen a man land a toe touch in high heels like that before, and I’ve also never experienced an entire audience so moving alongside a lead! If you’re looking for a great date night or a fun girls’ night out, this show is the perfect choice.

Set design - outstanding Costumes - perfect Band - superb Choreography- incredibly precise and synchronized Vocal harmony - best heard yet Individual acting - performers absolutely perfect for the roles Sound & lights - BEST EVER! Many shows have main characters with mics and some cast members can’t be heard. In this show, the balance between band and vocals was just right and the entire cast was heard!
