Semblanzas De México celebrates the life and legacy of Anthony Lopez, by bringing original choreographies to the stage that were once performed by his former company, Ballet Folklorico Mexicano de Colorado.  Semblanzas will take you through a journey of some of Mexico's most beautiful states, bring costuming, footwork, and stories to life.  

Semblanzas will be joined on stage by Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra, original members of Anthony's company, and additional special guests. 

A portion of the funds from ticket proceeds will support Colorado Health Network for their continued outreach programs on HIV/AIDS education and prevention.  Anthony Lopez lost his battle to the virus in March of 1995, and to honor his legacy, the donation will be made in his name.
