There are so many people who makePASO such a treasure of the Washington, DC-area arts scene, especially for those of us who love and dance tango. Sergio's warmth, enthusiasm, and joy in bringing musicians together to perform new and old classics for us, as well as Maureen's behind the scenes efforts to keep everything moving, as well as all the musicians who coalesce from time to time to bring Sergio's vision together - these are all essential to the PASO experience.

 Excellent, the arrangement of “Volver” and “Oblivion” made the day for us.

 The Pan American Symphony Orchestra’s world-class musicians bring passion, sensitivity and technical excellence to their performances. And Maestro Sergio Bušlje not only offers varied programs that bring talented dancers and guest artists to the stage, he also shares his vast knowledge and love of the tango with audiences in introducing each piece.

 An incredible celebration of tango and the masters. We try to attend every year and it is always a highlight for us. I especially enjoyed that this year the program featured a more nuanced and varied selection of pieces. Hearing from the director about the history and context is a joy. Also, the orchestra overall sounded incredible. Even stronger than before if it’s possible. I loved the seemingly expanded string section. Impressive young talent.

 There is no other orchestra in the area that plays this kind of music and with such quality musicianship and energy. It is a true treasure.
