An unhinged Chinese actress stalks another Chinese actress because they are the same casting type, accidentally turns both their lives around and achieves spiritual enlightenment. This dramedy follows Lili Shi, a Chinese actress who stalks and sabotages a marginally more successful (but less talented!!!) Chinese actress. Beneath her illegal passtime lies a deeper battle: Lili’s struggle to contain her explosive anger and break the cycle of abuse.

This play uses absurdist humour and surrealist stagecraft to depict the chaotic inner world of an abused abuser lost on her way to recovery. Martial arts sequences blend with clowning and physical theatre to create a bold, visually dynamic satire of migrant life. The characters’ inner strugglers are brought to life through visceral ensemble movements. At its core, this play is about generational trauma and the absurd and cyclical nature of recovery. Running time: 65min
