One Night Only: A Valentine's Cabaret

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a night of one act plays and improv, and support our upcoming season at our Cabaret Fundraiser!

Enjoy eight one act plays about the perils and pitfalls of love. A pair of teenage girls break into their high school in the middle of the night in She Came In Through The Bathroom Window by Tira Palmquist, Romeo and Juliet struggle with technical difficulties in Rmeo + Julez by Michael Salomon, an old married couple prepares for the end of the world in We Interrupt This Program by Arthur Keyser, A customer finds a fly in her soup at the finest restaurant in NYC in Stephen Bittrich’s La Mouche, a group of office workers argue over feminism, fatphobia and free cupcakes in F*cking Cupcakes by Judith Leora, two of literature’s most famous tragic heroines hang out and watch TV in the underworld in The Barely Wives Club by Sarah Segal-Lazer, high schoolers plot the end of the barbaric ritual of boy-dances-with-girl in Slow Songs Make Me Puke by Lindsay Price, and a pair of star-crossed lovers reconnect fifty years after they last said goodbye in A Late Summer by Liz Amberly.

Featuring an all local cast performing an eclectic mix of comedy and drama, One Night Only has something for everyone.
