Old Mercy Hospital

Event Flyer

Come get spooky with Riverside Iowa Paranormal for an incredible night of paranormal events at the Old Mercy Hospital in Okaloosa, Iowa! Guests will be able to investigate the hospital and enjoy music!

Founded by B.G. Williams, Old Mercy Hospital was built in the early 1900s, and opened as a private hospital called Williams Hospital. It became Mercy Hospital a year later.  According to an investigation done at the hospital in 2021, this location had several iterations after becoming Mercy Hospital including a convalescent home, a nursing home, and apartments. It eventually opened its doors as a place where people could stay if they had no home. In 2015, the DEA came in and busted a meth lab and it has been empty since that time as it was deemed to dangerous to allow people to continue sleeping inside. Help us unravel the mystery of the history of this location.

What kind of energy lies within these old walls? What will you be able to experience while investigating the history of this location? Given it's age and wildly differing iterations, one can assume that anything is possible at Old Mercy Hospital. We will see you, in the dark...
