This was our first visit and we loved it. I couldn't believe this was a free event until I watched TONS of people picking up a yes! packet and realized that you can't put a price on bringing more people to Christ. WOW- to the talent within this show. Amazing! We have a church home that we love but if we ever needed a new one, we'd absolutely try Northwoods. We brought our 5 year old and 3 year old to this event and both loved it also. Thank you for putting this on!

I had 6 children with me we sat in the upper balcony and unfortunately we did not receive the children’s packet that was advertised in the video that was texted to me. Therefore they were a little more restless in the teaching time than I had planned for, because I did not bring coloring supplies etc. Also we did not get a 20% of coupon for the bookstore so we didn’t stop by.

Did not like that our family was separated for waiting and seating due to having a family member in a wheelchair. It was difficult to make it through the crowd to the reserved seats when the crowd was going in all different directions. It seemed that the seating flow was more disrupted by the separation than it had been to keep our group together.

Our family has been coming to the Christmas production for 12 + years. We have enjoyed it so much!! Our kids have many good memories of the shows we have seen. The past few years we have been discouraged by the growing number of seats that are already saved before the doors even open. This year my husband was one the first through the door when they opened to only discover the door we were at most of the entire section was saved with coats & scarves from other people!

Very disappointed upon entering the event. We arrived an hour and a half prior to the show and waited second in line at the door to go in. When the doors opened, there was people already seated, and saving seats for their friends/family and /or seats with reserved signs on them. As a result we were finally able to locate a seat , albeit, had to separate OUR family just to get seats….in very poor locations.

They asked my family to leave as they thought our children were being disruptive when they were just laughing and having fun. What a way to discourage parents with young children from doing any Christmas activities. There was absolutely no compassion. The lady told us to take them out and that there were tvs outside. The production was outstanding. Thank you very much for doing this at no cost. As a group of family and friends we really enjoyed immensely. The message by the senior pastor at the end was a good message. It was just a little long and a little too much for the children in our group. They got wiggly and they got bored. Did not like the idea that people saved seats for people not there yet. I think people should have to meet at the church and come in together. We were there as the doors opened - 1/2 hour before the show started and stood in line. We were ushered in to find a seat and was on the main floor. We did not get a seat there because of people saving seats for people not there. We had to go back up up the aisle and then go up the stairs to the balcony. It happened to others also.

I felt a bit turned off by the excessiveness of the show. The production quality was great, but the song selection detracted from the true spirit of Christmas and the dancing was overly sexualized, especially for a church. It seemed to lean too far into the commercial themes of Christmas (which aren’t wrong) but this worked against the gospel call at the end. It made it seemed disingenuous in my opinion. My husband and I attended for the first time after living here for 14 years. We heard wonderful things about it, but never made it a priority. We attended, and we brought my mother, who is older, and were pleasantly surprised at your accommodations for handicapped parking and the ability to enter with her before the crowds. Thank you for making entering and leaving so easy. We were amazed how quickly seats were filled with the mass entrance after we were seated.

Very welcoming and organized. It would be nice to have some way to reserve specific seats or sections instead of general admission. People aren't very respectful when trying to enter and locate seats. Parking was well organized as well- thank you to police officers helping out with this.

Parking and seating were inefficient. There were no seats in the balcony and standing room only, though I had selected tickets and had tickets for seats. No one was scanning tickets so it seemed like anyone could of walked into the event. When elderly people, who have tickets, are standing for an entire program, that's a problem to resolve for the future.

“Tron” looking lights on drummers were a turn off. Underwhelming drum playing as compared to previous year. Boring. Nonstop upbeat “jamming” and not enough slow down and let’s worship. It was great, we did walk thru a long chain link for the balcony and then it ended up not being used, a whole portion of the chain link was not used so we could’ve just walked up the stairs instead of going through that long line of cue. We didn’t mind but I heard other people complain.

Absolutely a stunning performance by all the cast. My favorite part of past programs is the Little Drummer Boy. Pastor Nate rocked that song!! I loved it! And Josh's guitar solo was perfection. I'm always amazed at the talent that Northwoods is blessed with. I understand that it is Josh's daughter that performed I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus. What an amazing gift she has!! I also enjoyed the lighted backdrop and changing scenes. I loved it all. Thank you!

We were under the impression it was a first come first serve. When they open the doors, there were so many seats reserved already. We had a five-year-old child with us and it was hard to find a seat. Northwoods does a great job teaching biblical truths while challenging traditional worship styles. The Christmas program is a spectacular example of such. We brought first time visitors with us to the program. They were amazed by all the action on stage. There was dancing Christmas trees, angel that flew, drummers that came down from the rafters, and real camels.The pastor had a touching message about the in stead ofs to help remind us of God's promises. It was our first time there and really enjoyed the message and performance. The ability to handle a large number of people was excellent. The only problem we ran into was after the show we were not able to use the elevator to get down. There were several young boys (8-10 total approximately 8-12 years old) waiting to ride it My wife was able to hobble down but would have preferred use of elevator. God bless you on all you do.

We drove ten hours to attend the event & meet my son coming down 6 hours from WI. We were disappointed that the whole event was not more spiritual; rather than seeming like we were at a circus or worldly even until the end where Jesus is sneeked in as the "real" purpose. I understand Paul being h as Romans while with Romans (in THEIR environment) but to come to a church environment & see a production more worldly oriented Ted than God-centefed throughout, was dishearte

Did not like it as much as previous years, for a Christian Church production, we were disappointed at the amount of Santa and more secular songs, especially during the first half. There are so many good Christian songs. The “mommy kissing santa claus” song was terrible, that should never be in any production ever again. Think about the meaning of songs please before you put them in a Church Christmas show! Also, the dancers were distracting and are not needed in every song

I loved the Southern Gospel number with Pastor Cal! Some of my other favorites were the sheep and camels, the small child singing “I saw mommy” and of course the drummer boys! (Pastor Nathan nailed that song!). I love seeing all of Northwoods talent displayed for the Glory of God! We loved it! We brought a friend of my sons to the program and he thought the show was awesome! He also said he liked how Pastor Jon came out at the end to bring it back to Jesus.

The only negative comments my family had was that the spotlights at the top of stage which moved around and changed colors during performances were extremely bright when the white came on blinding our view throughout the performance sitting on lower level. We also thought the volume of music could come down a few notches.

I had attended Northwoods periodically in the past, even as long back when they met at a High School, I think Notre Dame? I've always loved the welcome culture one and all, anytime. The show was fantastic, I brought my 6 and 8 year old Grankids, more to get and keep instilling that foundation of the reason for the season in Jesus. It was superbly accomplished by Northwoods. Thank you for a wonderful experience! The photo ops, the parking assists, the numerous friendly volunteers, and of course the show. I must admit I like the original drummer boy with drums onstage and the descending drummers without the light up suits. That was always a highlight of the show for me in the past. Nativity scene was my favorite.

We have come for years and always stood by the one side door so we could get our group of 10 in 2 rows of 5. They wouldn't let us do that and because of that we got split up because we got pushed to the back of a big group. I'm not sure it pays to get there an hour before the show anymore. Very disappointed

I love the program, the quality, the emphasis on the true meaning of Christmas. I missed all of the audience singing together a Christmas carol. Silent night is always a special one that 3000 ppl singing would be so special. I would like the dancing to be the background and not up front so much. It’s not a dance recital.

always a good time and wonderful for the community. However, there is so much going on stage it’s difficult to see everything. Our group ALL AGREED that the program is more like a 3 ring circus. Why do you have all the dancers and performers on EVERY single song?? It’s too much.. and every year.. The Bethlehem song and animals song was the best. We liked the southern gospel song and wanted more. Not my favorite Drummer Boy display but my group liked it.
