Excellent. We loved the show!

       I didn't like the story line, and was really confused about the circus performer and his wife. I thot at first they were Matildas parents, but then they were Miss Honey's

   The show was fantastic! It was awesome to see so many talented youth with so much drive and passion. The entire cast was extraordinary! Special recognition to Evandra Aurelia (Miss Honey) and Tressa Bender (Miss Trunchbull) for their masterful performances! Matilda (played by Lucy Sky Levy-Longini) was a shining STAR! She is so talented! I am confident her future in theatre will be nothing but successful. We couldn't have been more pleased with the performance.

   I loved the simplicity of the props, it really allowed all focus to go on the talent of the cast members! My daughter left the show with so much enthusiasm and a new found love for theatrical arts. She has talked nonstop about the orchestra and is eager to learn about the history of each instrument, She is curious about the vocal ranges of the performers. This was just an amazing learning opportunity for this homeschool family!

   The performance was terrific due to the excess of talent on the stage and off

   Those children seem to be born for the stage. Stellar performers! I really liked Jase Puente. His screams while being led offstage were very realistic.

   Wonderful show! Our grandson loved it! Our only complaint was that we often couldn't hear the dialogue over the band. We noticed that the speakers were behind us (we were in the 3rd row). Luckily we knew the story and were able to follow.

 The orchestra is entirely too loud. You can barely hear the lyrics/dialogue. And they “warmed up” super loudly all the way until the show actually started. It’s a play, not a concert.

   Best children’s musical ever done at SVCT!

 While the crew is very talented, especially the young lady playing Matilda, her teacher, and school principal, I was not a fan of the story. There was too much yelling and terrible treatment to children. Honestly, I tuned out during most of the scenes with the principal. I don’t understand how that story is acceptable for children to watch. A little guy in the bathroom was so confused. The 2nd half was much easier to digest than the first.

 Acting and singing were very good. Excellent directing for a complex cast. Microphone for Mathilda was too loud and made it difficult to understand her. Also, the band played too loud during her solos and it was hard to hear her. We were in row k. We left at intermission because of the sound. It’s too bad such a great performance was ruined by bad sound.

   Singing and dancing from the cast was amazing, special props to all the young actors doing the group numbers. Lead role of Matilda was incredible!! Loved the whole show and live musicians adding to the performance.

     Wonderfully fun show full of great singing and dancing and plenty comedic relief. Very family friendly. Everyone involved seemed to be very passionate and devoted to the play. It was a lot of fun.

   Performance was great. Actors obviously honed their craft. However I was disappointed with an experience at my seats. We were in row D seats 1 and 2. We had a great view until a couple of your volunteers sat down in front of us. It completely obstructed my view. Perhaps this can be be addressed for future performances. Again congrats on a great show! I know your future Matilda’s will be wonderful Regards E Zambataro
