Get ready for an exciting month of live music, great food, and fierce competition at Margie’s Bakery & Deli! Every Friday night in May—from May 9 through May 30—local singers will compete, and YOU get to decide who will be crowned the Margie’s Singer Showdown Champion and win a $500 grand prize!

Each week, talented performers will take the stage to show off their vocal skills. At the end of the night, you cast your vote to decide who advances, with the final showdown on May 30. Only one will emerge victorious as Margie’s Singer Showdown Champion!

 It was a tight fit at the tables. Had to eat at an angle to the table. Other than that, fun night!!

 This ws my first time attending the Showdown. I only wish I had gone to the 2 previous events. It was uplifting and inspiring and so much fun. ALL that I said above about the May 30 finale.

 Great event! We did the dinner and a show for two nights! Food was good and the singers awesome! Great job Margie's!

How did you like the event?

 We had a great time at Margie’s Bakery and Deli Singer Showdown! The food was delicious (don’t skip the desserts!), and it was such a fun family night. One small concern — it didn’t quite feel fair to have a traveling competition singer compete in a local talent event. Hope future shows stay focused on our amazing hometown voices!

How did you like the event?

 I thought the event was really well done. The host was engaging and charismatic. This was my first time attending so I did not get to see the talent all month but it was obvious they found the best talent in town. If you all hold another event like this, I would suggest getting impartial judges to aid in the winners decision along with the crowd. It seemed to me, the people with the most people there to support will always win in an event with only 50 to 60 attending.

How did you like the event?

 Very easy to order tickets. Very organized from start not finish. Staff was friendly. Food came quickly and was delicious. MC was so informative and entertaining. Contestants were all very good. It was hard to choose my favorites. Maybe age categories would be good. It is hard to not vote the “cuteness” cofactor for children. I plan to go to the finals. Please have more shows. Comedians. Local music. Poetry reading. Game shows.
