Mamma Mia is a romantic comedy, contasting the dreams and aspirations of a 1970s girl and a 1990s girl. Through the story-telling magic of the songs of ABBA, we meet the independent Donna and her daughter, the romantic Sophie, who wants her father to give her away at her wedding. Now, if only her mother could tell her who her father is....

Sun, sea, and subterfuge are the backdrop of this tale of the women who wanted to have it all, and the girls who want happy ever after. The show is bright, fun, and sunny - it's a night of entertainment you won't want to miss!

   Great performance. The lighting, music and acting was AMAZING. I was dancing in my seat and lip singing all through the show. I enjoyed the musical so much I found myself singing songs from the performance, throughout the following day.

   The sound mixing was pretty bad. Couldn't hear almost any of the lyrics being belted out over the amplified drums and bass guitar unless it was an ensemble. Otherwise though, an excellent performance!

How did you like the event?

  Since it’s a community performance, we shouldn’t be too hard on the show. However, it would be nice if the music was half-key or a key lower. There were some parts that the performers sang off-key, flat and strained and lower the key would help. I haven’t attend any musical shows for years but I noticed that the mic was a bit lower than the band, which made it hard to understand what the performers said most of the time. Overall, it was a fun experience for a Friday night.
