Houghton College Community Classic

Houghton’s Very First “Houghton College Community Classic” is a tennis tournament open to members of the Houghton Community, Houghton Tennis Alumni, current and prospective students, and anyone who loves to play tennis! Multiple events allow you to find the competition that is right for you. Come celebrate a day of fun, fierce, friendly competition among other tennis enthusiasts.

Men’s Singles

Double Elimination Bracket, guaranteed 2 matches. 2 out of 3 set format with No-Ad scoring & a super tiebreaker third set.

Women’s Singles 
Double Elimination Bracket, guaranteed 2 matches. 2 out of 3 set format with No-Ad scoring & a super tiebreaker third set.

Men’s Doubles
Double Elimination Bracket, guaranteed 2 matches. 2 out of 3 set format with No-Ad scoring & super tiebreaker third set.

Women’s Doubles
Double Elimination Bracket, guaranteed 2 matches. 2 out of 3 set format with No-Ad scoring & a super tiebreaker third set.

Play with a Player (Doubles)

Play Doubles with a current Houghton College player. Limited availability to the first 10 entrants.

Open Event (Singles)

Double Elimination Bracket, guaranteed 2 matches. 2 out of 3 set format with No-Ad scoring & a super tiebreaker third set.

Open draw allows for mixed gender, student, community, and alumni competition.

*No refunds will be given within 48 hours of the start of the tournament.

All Matches are permitted at 10 minute warm-up with opponent

Court will be available at 8am for extended warmup with matches beginning promptly at 9:00am
