Clinic Descríption
This specialized clinic is for baseball players who are serious about their future in baseball and is designed for players in 7^th-12^th grade.  Players will receive instruction, critique and drills to take home for winter training throughout a day of intense training.  Based on the level of the player, instructors will focus on specific areas needed for success. Attendees will have the opportunity to work directly with the coaching staff and players of Houghton College Baseball.
 
Offense: emphasis on swing mechanics, individual hitting evaluation, mental approach and preparation, baserunning techniques and strategy

And

Defense: focus on physical and mental preparation and execution covering various situations and techniques

 Or            

Pitching: emphasis on physical, mental, and psychological elements of pitching to increase velocity, develop command, and improve health and recovery.   
 
What to bring
Cleats, Sneakers, Glove, Helmet, Bat, Batting Gloves, Catching Gear (if applicable)

*There is a fee of $25 if you cancel your registration within 14 days of the clinic
*No refunds will be given within 48 hours of the start of the clinic.
 
NCAA Compliance: Per NCAA rules, this clinic is open to any and all entrants
 
Overnight Option: For juniors or seniors who are interested in learning more about Houghton College, overnight accommodations, including dinner with Highlander coaches & players and a full campus tour will be available at no additional cost.  Please indicate your interest on the registration page or contact Coach Reitnour.
