Haunted YMCA at Rock Island

Join the RIP Team of paranormal investigators as we investigate the dark corridors of one of Rock Island's most haunted locations.  The Haunted Rock Island Y.M.C.A. has become a paranormal hot spot in the Midwest!  It has a mischievous past which includes time spent as a brothel, a speakeasy, and also has ties to the mob.

After the first Y.M.C.A burned to the ground and was eventually demolished, a new Y.M.C.A was built in 1911 during some of the darkest times in Rock Island's history.  There are many mysteries to be solved including:  What caused the fire of 1976?  Why did John Dickerson commit murder during his stay at they Y.M.C.A.?  Who drowned in the pool and why?  What illegal dealings did John Looney and Helen Van Dale commit in the building?

As the Y.M.C.A. the building was the center of the Rock Island community for the following:   Youth program, housing travelers passing through, a stop for railroad workers, men needing a place to stay, war time soldiers (who would stay for free if they showed up in uniform).
