How would you spend your time if forced to repeat the same day over and over again? Phil Connors, a seasoned big-city weatherman, is frustrated to be to reporting the annual Groundhog Day Ceremony in small town Punxsutawney, PA. His arrogance and cynicism are in direct opposition to the cheery townsfolk, who are ready for their favorite Groundhog to not see his shadow and welcome an early spring. After disdainfully covering the rodent’s negative forecast, he awakens the next day only to discover it’s February 2 once more. Initially in disbelief, Phil finally accepts he is doomed to repeat the same day over and over again….

Will Phil accept that he is doomed to continue repeating the same day? Or will he find the courage to change himself and his fate.

This show is recommended for children 13 and up, for strong language and sexual situations and innuendo.

 Great show! Funny and entertaining. Andrew did a fantastic job, as well as the many supporting characters. While I love seeing a live orchestra, they were a bit loud, lost some of the lyrics. Overall, a fine job done by all. 👏🏼👏🏼

 Such a fun show! The cast was amazing and their energy was infectious. Great staging and interesting choreography to make the performers shine. Loved the musical score and would have loved it 5 stars worth if I could have heard the singers over the ridiculously loud band. Lost more than half of the lyrics because they just drowned out everyone.

 Fantastic production. It was so much fun! Only big thing was my friend and I were sitting in the middle of row 7 and I don’t know if it was where we were sitting or not…but the microphones for the lead (sometimes leads) were piercingly loud and we had to cover our ears at times. The rest of the cast and the band were beautifully balanced. But my ears are still ringing from last night. We should have asked to move. But seriously, outside that the show was freaking amazing.

 Fantastic! The leads were very talented. Very creative set. Costumes great. Orchestra good. Sometimes the singers were drowned out. Probably because pit is small and stage is small. But the time went fast and we enjoyed all the work that went into the production. So much local talent!

 One of the best shows SVCT has done in years. The company was amazing and the leads were dynamite: sets and orchestra all on point. Only feedback was sometimes the music drowned out the singers

 What I loved: the orchestra!, set design, the actors were great, choreography well done! I really liked nearly all of it, but I'm disappointed in the raunchiness. The movie didn't go that far and was very entertaining. I would like to invite friends to see shows but we don't enjoy the crass stuff.

 It was very very well done. The actors were very skilled and it was a fun production. It was quite different but with overlapping elements from the original. It was very entertaining.

 I really enjoyed the whole show. Several different people mentioned that the orchestra was too loud for them to hear some of the words. But I did not have that problem. I was seated on the 3rd row.
