Freaky Friday, a new musical based on the celebrated novel by Mary Rodgers and the hit Disney films, is a heartfelt, comedic, and unexpectedly emotional update on an American classic. When an overworked mother and her teenage daughter magically swap bodies, they have just one day to put things right again. By spending a day in each other's shoes, Katherine and Ellie come to appreciate one another's struggles, learn self-acceptance, and realize the immeasurable love and mutual respect that bond a mother and daughter.

How did you like the event?

   The musical was fun, new, exciting! The actors were all very well prepared, and the lines and songs were all delivered beautifully! The masks did prevent a couple of smaller lines to be a bit garbled, but the overall result was actually much better than expected! Entrances on and off stage were excellent, sets came on and off effortlessly, and everything was very smooth. The 2 leads were very believable with switching personalities! All well done!!

   It was such a joy to watch our students doing what they love in front of a live audience again. I know they work so hard, and it shows! They all did a wonderful job! Thanks, HSE Performing Arts, for making this event happen!
