Join us for a once-in-a-lifetime celebration of Rumi’s birthday — where music, dance, meditation, and poetry come together in a spiritual and artistic journey.

 

✨ The afternoon begins with a welcoming ceremony in the gardens, with live music from Iran and around the world.

✨ In the main hall, the program opens with a special message from Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, followed by an inspiring declaration by Dr. Parvin Amin-Arasteh.

✨ The centerpiece of the festival is the world premiere of Pireh Changi (The Old Harpist), a concert-theater production created by Ali Pajooheshgar, featuring Sina Sarlak, Rozita Yousefi, Yuval Ron Ensemble, and many distinguished international artists, dancers, and ensembles.

 

This unique festival bridges cultures and generations, carrying Rumi’s eternal message of love, light, and unity into the heart of Los Angeles

How did you like the event?

  It was disappointing. The event was advertised as featuring Sina Sarlak and the large women's daf group of L.A. But the Daf group was not there (only a children's daf group) and Sina only performed 2 songs. Also, they started 30 minutes late, and we were told we would see a performance from the Art of Living center but it was a 20 minute meditation and only a 5 minute solo guitar. Very amiture. Not worth 70 dollars per person at all!

 Very little going on at 4-6pm even though told to be there at this time. Alot of time wasted. The advertised "special food" just cheap Persian sweets and tea. For the price paid was very underwhelming. Main show began late around 7. Then there was bunch of stuff that felt more like advertising for the venue than related to main act. Was exhausted by 9 and left early because main act had still not come on stage. Felt that $70 was very overpriced f

 On the poster they wrote Sina Sarlak's name but he sang only two songs in the end!! It was supposed to be from 4 to 9 but they started so late! The labels on the seats were wrong and I didn’t sit on the seat number that I bought for 150$!The show was very weak and performances were weak. I only liked two songs that was played in the end! I wish Rumi Academy respects their audiences more than this in the future events. Also on I didn't see food ther!althought they said in the
