With 12 years in the business, you’ll be hard-pressed to find a more professional tribute band. Definitely Mightbe’s rabble-rousing sets carry the same stage presence and atmosphere of famous gigs like Earls Court, London in 1995 and Maine Road, Manchester in 1996. It was in these venues that pop culture thrived and the identity of Britpop was born. Lead singer, Ian Alcock, is a dead-ringer for Liam Gallagher matching his style, mannerisms, and looks. Ian’s resemblance is so uncanny, he has worked as a look-a-like for the likes of BBC 1, Channel 4, Sky TV, and ITV.

In print, Ian has done advertising campaigns for Virgin, HMV, Q Magazine, Loaded, Lloyds Bank, Royal Bank of Scotland, and the National Press. After all this publicity, Ian starred as Liam Gallagher in a music video for MOTORHEAD. The similarities go beyond skin-deep with a singing voice to match the unique tones of the Oasis lead singer. Emulating Noel Gallagher is Paul Mitchell; the accomplished guitarist is an excellent mimic and matches the riffs and breaks to the second.

Performing to such a level live is no small feat and guests would think they were listening to a perfect album recording and not a live music set. Kevin Pyne keeps the rhythm section going on bass guitar while Pete Coppard is the backbone of the group, providing the drums to keep everything locked together.

Audiences can expect to hear a selection of hits to paint a picture of Oasis’ success. With over two hours of material; the selection is huge, be it the rock anthems of ‘Champagne Supernova’, ‘Wonderwall’, and “Don’t Look Back in Anger”, or a few quieter B-Sides. For more intimate gigs the band can even play Noel’s acoustic numbers. With such variation and professionalism, there is little doubt that Definitely MightBe is one of the UK’s best Oasis tribute band. This live band is equally at home being corporate entertainment or headliners at a music festival.
