CYT Nashville is excited to present Shrek the Musical! "Once upon a time, there was a little ogre named Shrek...." And thus begins the tale of an unlikely hero who finds himself on a life-changing journey alongside a wisecracking Donkey and a feisty princess who resists her rescue. Throw in a short-tempered bad guy, a cookie with an attitude and over a dozen other fairy tale misfits, and you've got the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand... and his name is Shrek. You don’t want to miss this high energy show!

   We were blown away by the number of energetic and talented kids on that stage ... WE LOVED the excitement and energy and how confident they were ... We attend NYC Broadway a lot ... plus we have grandchildren in Nashville Public schools who are drama participants ... The differences between the public school presentations with this one was HUGE ... CONGRATS to ALL who worked on this ... We want to see more going forward. What a great experience for those kids ... Thx you!

     Shrek was an amazing show! Our granddaughter Mandy Isham was in the show and she was having so much fun. We brought three of our younger grandchildren to see it and they were mesmerized! The 4 year old watched with his mouth open the whole time! Thank you for a fabulous fun production.

   Amazing talented actors/musicians. I wish I could have seen bios on troupe members. why is there not a printed program? I do not live in Tennessee, so I'm not familiar with how the theater operates. Would love to read about the actors. Amazing performance by all.
