CYT Nashville is excited to present Guys and Dolls! Set in Damon Runyon's mythical New York City, Guys and Dolls is an oddball romantic comedy. Gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck; meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they've been engaged for fourteen years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, and Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown, as a result. Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong. You don’t want to miss this classic show!

How did you like the event?

   The performance itself was lovely. My daughter and I had a wonderful time! The audio on the music got a bit too loud for us a few times but that’s ok. I think that’s just down to the acoustics already being so good in the theater. Haha. Also could have done without the hooping and cheering of audience members when their children came on stage. That’s not good theater etiquette. But also not WCPAC’s fault. I get that. All in all, we absolutely loved it and we̵

 Such a fabulous show, with tremendous talent! The theater, however, was blazing hot. CYT is impressive and never disappoints, so that was the consolation for the uncomfortable temperature.

   I didn't realize this was a youth production. I needn't have been concerned at it was excellent. The principals, if they so choose, will have a real shot in a few years on Broadway. Seriously.

   Stunning production!! Loved the characters, the singing, the dancing, and the acting was top notch. It was an amazing experience!

   The show was superb! The Performing arts center AC stopped working so the audience was hot & the actors were even hotter, but they reformed through the inconvenience like any true professional. I was very impressed with the entire production
