Cuffing Season 🪢
a rope workshop with Parker & Ellie

Get cozy, creative, and tied up at this playful floor-based rope bondage workshop, which explores many delightful ways to bind limbs can create fun positions, shapes, and experiences. 

We’ll present a variety of classic and inventive configurations, such as hogties, frog ties, shrimp ties, forward folds, and twisty torsions, with an emphasis on comfort, communication, and adaptive techniques. 

Whether you’re looking for expressive poses, tight little bundles, or positions that invite teasing play or dynamic scenes, this class offers hands-on guidance to help you cuff, constrict, and contour your partner with confidence (and always consent!).

Partnering: Tying with a partner, self-tying, and pairing up at the workshop are all welcome!  Some of the hands-on activities work better with a partner, but solo attendees are also welcome. Observers are also welcome.

What to Bring

* Your same-day negative COVID test (or arrive early to test at the door)

* 3-4 ropes, each at least 25ft. long. 
Rope is also  available for sale & to borrow at the workshop.

About the Instructors:

Parker RopeBoi (they) is a queer, non-binary rope performer and educator who has been sharing their passion for rope across North America and Europe since 2009. Known for daredevil self-suspension techniques, Parker is also a rigger who loves predicaments, challenges, and connecting through rope. Based in NYC, Parker teaches workshops and lessons from novice to advanced and hosts the monthly Queer Rope Social jam.

Ellie (she/they) is a queer top-leaning rope switch, event facilitator, and educator based in New York City. Joining the kink scene in the fall of 2021, Ellie quickly found a passion for community building, education sharing, and making the scene more welcoming to newcomers.  They value rope as a tool for connection, control, and creativity. In their own rope practice and as an educator, Ellie strongly believes that rope is for everyone, and should be modified to the individual and not vice versa. Ellie currently facilitates queer rope events in NYC through Bowtie Productions (Bowtie_Prod on Fet and bow.tie.productions on Instagram), volunteers with Queer Rope Social, and facilitates rope events out of the Upline rope studio in Connecticut.
