Providence Classical School's Drama program is kicking off the holiday season with the Victorian classic, A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story by Jerry R. Montoya. Join us for hot drinks, desserts, and singing, as the Prince Rupert Theater Society of London (a.k.a. the 10th-grade drama class and grammar school students) share a fast-paced, light-hearted adaptation of Dicken's holiday classic. In this story Scrooge has grown to be a cruel and bitter man toward his family and friends; however, through the intervention of loving characters, he learns once again what it means to carry the spirit of Christmas with him always. It is an adaptation that is sure to bring a smile to your face and usher in the holiday spirit.

The amount of lines learned by the teens/characters was incredible.... they performed wonderfully. The little children singing was adorable. And Scrooge was fantastic. Great job!

Surprised at the quality of this “school play”. The student actors did extremely well, the set was good, the use of the younger children as the chorus was clever and surprisingly well done. The man playing Scrooge was phenomenal and he and the students did a wonderful job together. Very much enjoyed the play 😁
