The Williamson County Performing Arts Center invites you to a special tribute to the music of Chicago! Chi-Town Transit Authority is an 8-piece tribute band based out of Atlanta established in 2017 that is dedicated to reproducing the “Chicago” concert experience. Featuring a tight horn section along with the dynamic vocal harmonies that Chicago is famous for, Chi-Town performs all of the familiar and famous songs covering over 4 decades of steady hits written and recorded by Chicago.

 

Run Time: 1 hours and 45 minutes (including a 15 minute intermission)

   Absolutely superb. It was wonderful songs, and the band was excellent. I enjoyed it so much and the 8 entertainers illustrated they were enjoying doing the performance. wcpactn: More tribute concerts from the 1960 to 1990 years would be a wonderful drawing card for the 1930 forward age group. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

   I left @ 8:15 or so; I knew after the 3rd song that I would be leaving. I really tried to like them! Frankly, I could not abide such a performance: poor vocalists, the music was fair, yet the overall performance was subpar. Surprised that, in an area known for outstanding studio, session & tour musicians who have formed superb cover bands (ie: The Smoking Section; 22 Against Nature, et al), the County had to go out of town to find this wannabe group. Atlanta can have them.
