 It was a great experience. Love the theater. The person taking tickets was a bit rude and condescending to 1 patron who had brought a bag of leftovers and a couple who were ahead of me. The couple were expressing the difficulty they and many others in line were having because they never received their tickets purchased online and they weren't sure what to do. She rudely told them to move No natural people skills, a little training in dealing with people would help.

   Hi, deducting stars because I'm disappointed that I could not use my cell phone to record my granddaughter’s dance. I would understand if there was an option to buy a dvd, but if no one filmed it and made it available for purchase, why couldn’t a family member record it?

 The stage is excellent for smaller-scale performances. I think it is great to have a variety of theaters that have different functionalities in a town, and Center Stage Theater is a great example in this beautiful town. I really hope it remains open for many generations to benefit from.

   An intimate setting - agreeable, in that no matter where one sits, one is fairly close to the stage. Despite many warnings that there would be "no late seating," the performance started about 10 minutes late. That's okay, although many of us did make the effort be there early and in our seats on time. That won't keep me from attending events there in the future.

   It was very quaint and "indy" like. I think it would be helpful to have a couple of greeters not just one person struggling with checking people in, and finding seats. I thought the sets were very creative and although minimal, really effective. The staging was good too. The performers were great and convincing; costumes were very effective.

 To make your audience stand in a long line outside theatre and not opening the doors open until 15 minutes before the performance was scheduled to begin is insane. It allowed clumps of people to cut in line for a general seating event. There is no theatre etiquette. I felt like I was in line for some high school soccer game.

   Check-in was easy and seating was amazing. The only issue I had was accessing the digital program. The program director mentioned it immediately before the performance started, but I wish that the staff had mentioned it on check-in as I didn't see the sign with QR code prior to entry, and also that they had provided a WiFi password as there was limited signal inside so I couldn't download it until I went outside at intermission.

 We were blown away by the way the actor was able to beautifully convey the person of Ronald Reagan so well. His love for his wife and our country. He is the first president I voted for and probably the best our nation has ever had. I felt safe back then. I was reminded of those days on Friday night. Thank you! The audience was small but we were ALL clearly fans.

     The play "I can hear you...." by Claudia McGarry was wonderful. The sound by the actors could be improved. Sometimes it was very hard to hear their words. Does your theatre provide individual mics for actors. Otherwise it was a great experience.

   Rooftop parking was comvenient. I like the intimate stage and theater experience. Great sound and lighting. Comfy seats. If you sit too far to the right or left, the wing curtains would obstruct your view on that side. My seat had a good view.

   I was disappointed that because I was seated far to the right (facing the stage), I could not see all the dancers because of the black curtain, especially during the Hip-Hop dance number where there were so many dancers on stage but I could not see all of them. From the angle from which I was seated, I could not see all the dancers on the stage. There should be rest rooms on every floor.

   The performers really wrestled with their individual sound equipment! It's probably not modern or helpful for their further stage careers to throw away the little modern mics and ask them to learn to project their voices into the seats; but when the mics misbehave, as they did almost continually, one is left with voices either not projecting at all or booming out occasionally, instead of being trained for a steady stream of sound. Can't hear = can't follow the plot.

   Had a great experience. A very intimate theater set up and I thought sound and lighting was very good. No bad seat in the place. Staff were excellent. Too bad bathrooms aren't set up for crowds but it worked. Tickets were easy to purchase online and getting in their door/theater was also easy. Food and drink line was too slow to accommodate the crowds. But overall excellent!

   We purchased one additional ticket for the performance. It arrived conveniently to my email. However it was about twice as much as my neighbor who had bought tickets about a week earlier. Her tickets were $39.00+ 1.50 and our one ticket was $60.00. I wonder why was that? Thanks

   Almost perfect. The performance started very late because you kept letting in late arrivals. It's rude to the people that get there on time, and I think you should state the time and enforce it. Two of the people that were the latest ended up leaving after the second dance which makes it even more frustrating.

   This was one of the best shows I’ve seen in SB and I’m a theatre snob :) Beatriz has a truly AMAZING voice and acting chops and I don’t understand why she isn’t a famed singer by now.    Nathan in the ticket box was so amazing! When I discovered that ordering our tickets on line was wrong by my mistake, he got us into the 3:00 show instead of the 6:00 show. He was very very patient with me. His voice was very calming. I don’t know what I would have done if we drove 2 hours to the venue and then find we ordered our tickets incorectly, I would have been so very sad and our dancing granddaughter would have been so very disappointed. Natan is outstanding!

     We wasted our time getting an online ticket, but then were unable to view the performanance. We kept being told, online, that we had to wait to be admitted. I know one other person who had the same experience, but there may have been more. I'd ask for a full refund, except that the ticket was free, and exactly worth what it cost.

  Every experience I've had with Center Stage and Personal Stories has been magical. Maggie Mixell and Teri Ball are truly wonderful, professional, talented and lovely. I love getting to know the other storytellers and cheering them on! This is one of my favorite things to do in lifer - is get a chance to connect with people and tell my story. Thank you for bringing this charming event to our community and making life brighter in these difficult times.

 Incredible talent! What a high energy evening of committed artistry. So fortunate to have the unique company Ballet22 perform in Santa Barbara. Glorious, joyful, and emotional! Thank you to Center Stage for hosting them. A much needed dose of culture during the ongoing pandemic. Entering in with ID and vaccination card was so easy and convenient. Hope to see Ballet22 again soon and another interesting show at Center Stage.

   I really appreciated staff enforcing the mask policy before the show. However, as soon as the lights went down the people sitting next to us commented on how great it was that they could take their masks off now. Maybe enforcing vaccination requirements would make it less worrisome when others violate the rules? It also definitely got really warm and stuffy by the end! Not sure if that was an air- circulation thing or an AC thing.
