Bombshells exposes women balancing their inner and outer lives with humour and often desperate cunning.

  • Meryl Davenport – A mother trying to survive her non-stop day. 
  • Tiggy Entwhistle – A cactus enthusiast bravely attempting to rise above her relationship crisis.
  • Mary O'Donnell – A feisty teenage schoolgirl competing in a talent quest.
  • Theresa McTerry – An increasingly disillusioned bride on her wedding day.
  • Winsome Webster – A widow with an appetite for the unexpected.
  • Zoe Struthers – An American cabaret singer who's had her fair share of personal problems.

  * The bar will be open half an hour before each performance

** There will be a 15-20 minute interval during the play

   It was amazing. The talent was extremely high and the evening was most enjoyable. Great to see so much talent in an evening out at the delightful local Waihi DramaTheatre.

   That was the best play I have seen by far! Oh my goodness one moment I’m just about in tears then the next I’m laughing so hard a could hardly breathe. Fantastic job ladies you were absolutely AMAZING!!

   I thought the casting was great. The scripts an honest relatable insight into women's internal dialog uses. Funny, desperate and recognizable characters. Caricatures at times but still very real. All the actors had developed their characters and drawn on their emotions to present their struggles and dreams without seeming too tragic. The strength and resilience of women everywhere was the overall theme. Congratulations all.
